In Uttar Pradesh, COVID curfew has been lifted from 72 districts. Curfew continues now only in three districts of state including state capital Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Meerut. Meanwhile, new COVID cases are decreasing sharply in state and first time it has come down below 1,000.<br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports that decreasing COVID infection resulted in lifting of curfew in Saharanpur district where active cases are less than 600 and now shops can open in the district from today. The decision to continue the COVID curfew in remaining three districts, Lucknow, Meerut and Gorakhpur will be taken by Chief Minister today.
