COVID Cooperation between India and Bangladesh a model for the World- High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami

<span style="color: black;">The cooperation between India and Bangladesh on COVID 19 shows the closeness of the friendship between the two countries, says the High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Vikram Doraiswami. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Speaking after taking the vaccine at a programme organised for the foregin diplomats in Dhaka on Wednesday, he said that India and Bangladesh must vaccinate together  and make every effort to fight the disease together. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Complementing the government of Bangladesh on doing an excellent job in vaccinating its people, Vikram Doraiswami said that it was commendable that more than 1.75 lakh people were vaccinated in the first few days of the programme. He said that there was a great resonance that the Indian made vaccines were provided in large quantities on time to Bangladesh. He said that India Bangladesh relationship is strong and will remain strong and that 'vaccine maitri' is an essential component of it today.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">More than 30 diplomats with spouses were vaccinated during the programme organised by the government of Bangladesh at the Sheikh Russel National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam said that the entire community of diplomats numbering around 1200 would be provided vaccination in the country over the next few days.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Meanwhile, more than 1.58 lakh people were vaccinated in Bangladesh on the fourth day of the vaccination programme on Wednesday taking the number of people vaccinated in the country to over 2.46 lakh. </span><br />''
