COVID: 64 persons discharged in last 24 hours in Manipur

<span style="color: #222222;">In the last twenty four hours, 64 persons discharged from COVID Care Centres in Manipur improved the recovery rate to 68.68 percent which was 68.57 percent yesterday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the other hand 90 persons including 22 females were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases in the last twenty four hours in Manipur. So far Manipur has recorded total positive cases of 2015 and out of this 1384 were fully recovered and discharged from different COVID Care Centres. The number of active cases stand now at 631 only.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Out of the total 90 fresh positive cases, 25 each belong to Thoubal and Kakching districts of the State. Four persons from Thoubal district are non-returnees with local contact histories and the rest are returnees from other States.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Thoubal district has been witnessing an increase of positive cases among local contact histories from a few days after some Quarantine volunteers were detected positive of the virus recently. All the fresh positive cases are being shifted to the COVID Care Centres and all necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place.</span><br />''
