COVID-19 vaccination programme begins at 300 centres across in Bihar

<span style="color: #222222;">In Bihar, Covid -19 vaccination programme began at 300 centres across the state  today. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the vaccination programme at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science( IGIMS),Patna.<br />'' <br />'' The first  vaccine  was given to cleanliness workers and ambulance staff at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science( IGIMS). On this occasion Chief Minister Mr  Kumar appealed to people not to pay heed to rumours and co- operate vaccination programme.Thirty thousand people will be vaccinated today.  Web casting of vaccination process is being  done at 50 centres in different parts of the state. Health Minister Mangal Pandey said 4 lakh 65 thousand 160  health workers  will be vaccinated during the first phase of vaccination.Mr Pandey said district administration has been instructed to take utmost care during vaccination programme.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile Bihar  reported more recoveries than fresh Corona cases. 371 patients recovered during the last 24 hours, while 346 new cases were reported. So far, two lakh 52 thousand 858 patients have recovered from the Covid-19 infection in the state. The number of active cases is continuously declining. Currently, three thousand 981 patients are under treatment at various hospitals.<br />'' <br />'' COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 97.90 per cent in Bihar. This is 1.37 percent more than the national average.<br />'' <br />''<br />''Over one crore 97 lakh corona tests have been conducted in the state so far.</span>
