<span style="color: #222222;">In Mizoram, the Covid-19 vaccination drive for people in the age group of 18 to 44 years will begin on Monday, 17th May.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mission Director of state National Health Mission Dr. Eric Zomawia said that for vaccination of this age group, first priority will be given to those people who are at bigger risk of contracting the virus.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This section of people includes those working as cooking gas distributors, public transport drivers, media persons and who are working under power and public health engineering departments, postal department, pharmacies, banks and airport.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Officials said due to the shortage of vaccines compared to the demand, the total number of people of over five lakh in the age group of 18-44 will be given the vaccine gradually batch by batch.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to the officials, the state government has placed an order for procurement of over 10 lakh vials for the purpose.</span><br />''  <br />
