Maharashtra reported a little over 6 thousand fresh Corona virus positive cases and 177 fatalities yesterday, taking the tally of infections to 63 lakh 21 thousand and the toll to over one lakh 33 thousand. According to the data released by the State Health Department, 6,799 patients recovered from the infectious disease. AIR correspondent reports that there are 74,318 active cases and the state's COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 96.66 per cent. The case fatality rate is 2.1 per cent.
