<span style="color: #222222;">The Rajasthan government has imposed a slew of restrictions in the state to curtail the spread of Covid-19. The decision was taken at a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot yesterday. During the meeting, the State Council of Ministers expressed concern over the rapidly increasing instances of the Omicron variant of coronavirus. After the meeting, the Home Department issued fresh Guidelines last night.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondents report, that In the new guidelines, instructions have been given to ensure effective compliance of the already imposed night curfew from 11 PM to 5 Am. In view of the programs to be organized on New Year's Eve, relaxation in night curfew has been given on December 31. Emphasis has been laid on the necessity of masks and strict adherence to COVID appropriate behavior. Action will be taken under the Disaster Management Act for violating the guidelines.  It has been made mandatory for all eligible people in the state to get both doses of the Covid vaccine by January 31. After this, people who do not get both doses will not be allowed in public places. A maximum of 200 people will be allowed to participate in public, social, political programs and marriage functions in the state.</span>
