Information and Broadcasting Minister, Prakash Javadekar has released one crore rupees from his MPLAD fund to the Central Relief Fund to support the fight against COVID-19. <br />'' <br />'' He also sanctioned one crore rupees from his MPLAD fund to the hospitals in Pune to buy equipment to fight the novel coronavirus outbreak. <br />'' <br />'' The amount is for various medical equipment  ventilators, monitors, ECG machines, defibrillator, suction machines, portable X-ray machine and fogger to cater to the needs of the hospitals in the treatment of COVID-19 patients in Pune.
