In Puducherry Union Territory, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases rose to eight after two more persons tested positive today. According to the Health Director Dr Mohan Kumar, one person from Moolakkulam and another one from Thiruvandarkoil  tested positive today for COVID-19. Both of them had attended the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Delhi.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports, on suspicion initially they were tested and since no symptoms found, they were asked to remain in home quarantine. But, later they developed symptoms of COVID- 19, their samples were tested again and found positive, he added. They were admitted in the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College Hospital, the COVID exclusive hospital, where five positive cases of COVID-19 already quarantined. Presently, seven positive cases are admitted at the Indira Gandhi Government medical college and one from Mahe region getting treatment at the Kannur government hospital in Kerala.<br />
