<span style="color: #212529;">In poll bound state Manipur, the number of COVID-19 positive cases has been increasing day by day. 206 people have tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday in the State while no causality has been reported due to the pandemic. The state witnesses the positive rate of 8.6 percent yesterday which is highest since September 20 of the last year. In spite of the sudden increased of positive cases, election campaigns for upcoming polls is going on at the nook and corner of the state.<br />'' </span><br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the vaccination drive has been conducting aggressively in Manipur. In spite of all efforts, only ten lakh fourteen thousand and three hundred twelve adults are fully vaccinated so far out of targeted twenty three lakh forty one thousand beneficiaries. Manipur is among the lowest vaccinated state in the country and out of sixteen districts, only Jiribam district is fully vaccinated district till date. The COVID death toll in Manipur till yesterday is 2,012 and the active case is 736. The total number of recovered cases is 1,23,802 and the recovery rate is 97.83 percent. The total number of infected people so far is 1,26,550. </span><br />
