COVID-19 pandemic situation in Manipur improves with recovery rate at 93.93 per cent

<span style="color: #222222;">The COVID-19 pandemic situation in Manipur has improved and the recovery rate now stands at 93.93 per cent. So far, the State has registered total cases of 27,943 out of which 26,247 have recovered. Sixty seven new cases were confirmed in the last twenty four hour in the State while 74 persons recovered from the infection. Three deaths were reported due to the pandemic taking the total number of deaths to 344 in the State. The active cases stand at only 1,352 as on date.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent report, the number of tests conducted for COVID-19 till today is 4,71,346 and the confirmed cases is 27,943. After hovering the recovery rate around 80 per cent for a long time, the State has been able to contain the pandemic and the recovery rate has been improving from the past three week registering 93.93 per cent today. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the other hand, the number of confirmed cases in a day has also reduced and less than 100 cases have been detected from the past many days. So far 344 people died due to COVID-19 in the State.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Experts commented that the Jan Andolan Campaign initiated by the Prime Minister appealing the public to adopt mandatory three steps is one of the major reasons for reducing the cases in Manipur. The people are so sensitive and they have been following the steps and SoP in the State thus becoming one of the factors to successfully fight the pandemic. </span><br />''
