The first phase of Census India 2021 which is the house listing operation and National Population Register (NPR) updation has been postponed until further orders. <br />'' <br />'' The Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner said the decision has been taken in view of COVID-19 outbreak and nationwide lockdown due to the pandemic.&nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' The exercise was scheduled to be kicked off on various dates decided by States and Union Territories on 1st April.&nbsp;<br />'' &nbsp;
