Odisha Government has come out with a fresh set of restrictions to break the chain of transmission the resurgent covid-19. These restrictions will be effective from tomorrow till the 1st of February. AIR correspondent reports that the fresh set of anti- covid do's and don'ts mandates government offices in the state to operate with 50% of the staff strength while allowing government programs with a maximum cap of 100 participants –that too, with prior permission of the local authorities and strict adherence to preventive protocols. While night curfew will be in place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on all days in urban areas, passengers landing in any of the two airports in the state will be subjected to random RT PCR test and subsequent course of action.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Following the surge in covid cases including omicron infection, the state government has ordered closure of schools and colleges upto class twelfth.&nbsp; While social and religious gathering have been banned, political, academic, sports programs and marriage functions are allowed with a maximum of hundred participants after obtaining prior permission of the local authority.</span><br />
