Covid-19 negative report or final vaccination certificate mandatory to enter Odisha

<span style="color: #222222;">The Odisha Government has made it mandatory for people coming to the state to produce either a covid-19 negative report or a final vaccination certificate. An order issued by the office of the Special Relief Commissioner says that the stipulation will come into force from the 12th of April. A report from our Bhubaneswar correspondent:</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">People travelling to Odisha by any means including airways or railways, need to have either a final vaccination certificate or an RT-PCR covid-19 negative report obtained within 72 hrs of entry into the state. Failing this, they will face a  7- days' home or institutional quarantine.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In yet another deployment to contain the viral spread,  the state government has suspended all public transport between Odisha and Chhattisgarh which has been reporting a spike in positive cases, with effect from tomorrow.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the state's active caseload further mounted to 4888 even as the state is close to the 40 lakh vaccination mark. </span>
