In first of its kind online conference, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday addressed more than 17 thousand medical practitioners from different parts of the state. The Chief Minister enthused the doctors to participate in mitigating the COVID-19 crisis in the state. Apart from the chief minister, members of the state's COVID-19 taskforce also gave their guidance to the family physicians and medical practitioners who participated in the online conference.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The first ever two hour online conference of doctors which was held today was unique as even people from other walks of life participated in it and asked their queries. During the conference, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray made an emotional appeal to the medical practitioners to cooperate with the state government in the fight against COVID – 19. The CM said even now around 70-75 per cent patients infected with COVID show no symptoms. He urged the medical practitioners to give their service to nearby COVID centres at least once in a day. The CM said that health authorities have been directed to ramp up rapid antigen tests in the state during monsoon. About 3 thousand suggestions and comments were made by people during the conference. </span><br />
