<span style="color: #222222;">COVID-19 cases are on a rise in Tamil Nadu with Chennai reporting the highest number of cases. The number of cases reported in the state yesterday were 2342 with 16 deaths being reported. Chennai alone reported 874 cases yesterday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking to media in the capital, the Director of Public Health Dr. TS Selvavinayagam said that the clusters were formed during the family and public events as people did not abide to the COVID guidelines. Principal Health Secretary Dr. Radhakrishnan said, no increase in fatality rate has been reported in the state because of the increased testing facility.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
