In Telangana, surge in the number of COVID-19 cases being recorded every day continued with the recording of 2,932 new cases on a single day yesterday. As per the daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department, 2,932 persons tested positive for Corona virus on conduction of about 62 thousand tests during the past 24 hours. With this, the number of total COVID -19 cases reported so far in the state increased to one lakh 17 thousand 415. During the same period, 1,580 more COVID-19 patients recovered and discharged from various Hospitals in the state. The recovery rate in the state stands at 74.6 per cent and total 87 thousand 675 people have recovered from COVID so far.
