The Covid 19 numbers continue to decline in Karnataka for the last 14 days. The state reported 1,565 new cases, out of which Bengaluru contributed 840 fresh cases yesterday.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''&nbsp;However Bengaluru Rural reported the lowest with only 14 new cases, which is a 72% drop over a 24-hour period. Tumakuru reported 79 new cases, Mysuru 71 cases, Chitradurga 52 cases, Belagavi 47 cases, Mandya 46 cases and Uttara Kannada 45 cases. There were 21 deaths reported yesterday in the state, out of which six were in Bengaluru urban district.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile 2363 covid patients were discharged yesterday, taking the total recoveries in the state till date to 8,22, 953. Out of the total 27,146 active cases, 746 patients are admitted in intensive care units in different hospitals across the State. As many as 99,606 tests were conducted yesterday and the test positivity rate for the day was 1.57%, while the case fatality rate for the day stood at 1.34%.</span><br />
