<span style="color: #222222;">Advisor to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar maintained that aggressive testing of co-morbid persons and red zone areas should be conducted in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 virus in the Union Territory. He made these remarks while chairing a review meeting of health department at Civil Secretariat in Srinagar today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Advisor Bhatnagar asked the officials to launch an aggressive testing campaign in red zone areas, co-morbid persons besides keeping a constant check on the target groups so as to contain the spread of infection.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He impressed upon the officials to encourage people for self reporting and testing in case of any symptoms and encourage local population to visit flu and fever clinics in case of any symptoms. He also urged upon the officials to fast pace the on-spot sample collection in red zone areas besides increasing the contact tracing of positive cases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Advisor asked the officials to use the services of Asha Workers and Multi-purpose workers aggressively for contact tracing. He said, mobile testing vans should be deployed to maximize the reach of testing.
