In Bahrain, the National Safety Lower Court has sentenced four men to death over the killing of two policemen during recent political unrest in the country. According to Bahrain’s official news agency, the court also handed over life sentences to three other people. The agency says, defendants had all their legal rights in line with human rights standards and had lawyers representing them during the trial.
