In Rajasthan The District Court of Jaipur today rejected the charges against former minister and BJP whip Rajendra Rathor in Dara Singh fake encounter case. Rathor was arrested by CBI on 5th April. The District judge P.K.Jain in his order said that charges against Rathor were baseless and CBI has not sufficient evidences against him. The Court said that evidences presented by CBI are not enough to prove that Rajendra Rathor was the main conspirator of Dara Singhs fake encounter. Dara singh was killed in an encounter in 2006 at Jaipur. CBI has arrested 11 out of 16 accused of this case so far. Meanwhile The Rajasthan High court also granted bell to 2 accused policemen of this case today. It is assumed that Rajendra Rathor will be released from Jaipur Central Jail today.
