In Madhya Pradesh, a local court of Nasrullaganj in Sehore district has issue non-bailable warrants against state’s chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the leader of opposition in Loksabha Sushma Swaraj and two others in a case related with alleged insult of national flag.The two others included the then Sehore collector Sandeep Yadav and a local BJP functionary. A local congress worker has filed a case in the court stating that in a function attended by Mr. Chouhan and Mrs. Swaraj a girl had carried the national flag upside down.This function was organized on 31 March 2010 to celebrate the victory of Mrs. Sushma Swaraj from Vidisha parliamentary area.In its order the court observed that prima facie it appears Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Mrs. Swaraj and two others had violated the flag code of India 2002 and as a respectable citizen of the country it was their duty to stop such an incident.The state Congress has demanded that Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan must resign on the moral grounds.The leader of opposition in the state legislative assembly said if chief minister does not resign then the state Congress would launch a state wide agitation.
