The Sessions Court of Punchkula has granted interim anticipatory bail to former Haryana DGP, SPS Rathore in view of fresh FIRs registered against him in Ruchika molestation case. The court said that the police can interrogate Rathore but cannot arrest him as he has been granted interim anticipatory bail till 7th of this Month. The Haryana government has also been given a notice on FIRs filed in the case. The court said that the state government can file its version in the case by 6th of this month. The next hearing of the case will be on Thursday.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile, Ruchika's family said, they will oppose the bail through their counsel during next hearing. Rathore who was convicted by a CBI court in Ruchika's case, had moved an anticipatory bail plea before the court on Wednesday to avoid imminent arrest following filing of fresh FIR against him. Ruchika's brother Ashu Girhotra has demanded that former DGP be put behind bars. Talking to media he said that he had met the Superintendent of Police, Panchkula, Mr. Maneesh Chaudhary and sought a case under 306 of IPC for abetment to suicide against Rathore. Mr. Girhotra alleged that her sister Ruchika driven to suicide following her expulsion from school and after his torture and implications in false cases by the Police at the behest of Rathore.<br/>
