A special CBI Court in Mumbai has extended the custody of six persons accused in the Adarsh Society scam till Tuesday.The CBI, investigating the multi crore housing scam in Mumbai’s posh Colaba locality, has arrested retired Major General T K Kaul, IAS officer Pradeep Vyas, Chief Promoter of Adarsh Society R C Thakur, retired Brigadier M M Wanchoo and former deputy secretary of Maharashtra’s urban development department, P V Deshmukh.The Court was hearing the CBI plea for extension of their custody for investigations.
