A Delhi court on Friday rejected former telecom minister A Raja's plea to witness proceedings of 2G scam case in the Supreme court. Rejecting the former minister's application, Special CBI judge O P Saini said the application of A Raja is dismissed.

In his application, Raja had sought permission to appear and witness the judicial proceedings and assist his counsel during the proceedings in the Supreme Court on the 2G scam case.

Meanwhile, the court heard arguments from various accused and the CBI on the invocation of fresh charge of criminal breach of trust by a public servant under section 409 IPC. It fixed the matter for further hearing on Monday.
