In Orissa, a Bhubabeswar fast track court has awarded life imprisonment for the gangster Raja Acharya and his accomplice for Judo Coach Biranchi Das murder case. The fast track court Judge Bibekenda Das pronounced the judgment today. The convicts Sandeep Acharya alies Raja and Akshya Behera alies Chagala also have been imposed a fine of rupees ten thousand. They had gunned down the Judo Coach on April 13, 2008 at Bhubneswar. Birenchi Das had earned reputation for promoting the wonder child runner Budhia Singh. This murder had created a hue and cry.
