President Pranab Mukherjee has said, country's economy is performing reasonably well despite international slowdown. Addressing Diamond jubilee of Export Credit Guarantee Corportion (ECGC) in New Delhi today, Mr Mukherjee said, weak global demand has impacted export.<br/><br/>He said, reviving export will remain a serious challenge in the current international scenario. The President also emphasized the importance of Asian region, which contributes one third of global manufacture trade. Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also spoke on the occasion.
