Minister of state for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju has said that the country's coast line is totally secure. Replying to supplementaries during Question Hour in the Rajya Sabha today, he said the effective steps taken after 26/11 attack in Mumbai have resulted as no such an incident could take place after that. <br/><br/>He said Indian Navy and other central and state agencies are working in a synchronized way to protect the over 7,500 km coastline. Space based transponders have strengthen the coastal security. Mr Rijiju informed that four abandoned boats have been seized this year. He said 11 abandoned boats were seized last year and four were seized in 2015.
