Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has asserted that India is prepared for any eventuality and country's borders are safe under this government. He said people need not to worry. <br/><br/>In an interview to a private TV channel, Mr. Parrikar said the surgical strikes were successful and Pakistan is nervous post strikes. The Minister also thanked the Opposition parties for their support over the strikes and termed bipartisanship in matters of national security as a very important aspect for decision making during crucial moments.<br/><br/> He also said the Army is assessing if there were gaps in SOPs at Uri terror attack. <br/><br/>On China, Mr. Parrikar said relations with Beijing are much better than before and border management is also much better than previous governments.
