<span style="color: #222222;">Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi today said the country trusted Congress for decades but the party spent more than five decades in serving one family. Addressing a public meeting at Chittorgarh in Rajasthan, Mr. Modi said many nations which got Independence with India went ahead in development, but India lagged behind. He said injustice was meted out to the country's resources under the Congress rule.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Modi said his government fought against poverty, corruption, illiteracy and terrorism in the last five years and India got victory in this fight. He alleged that Congress only did vote bank politics and betrayed people for years of its rule.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Modi said if the Congress had stopped India's share of water as per the Sindhu Agreement, there would not have been  shortage of water in the country. He said now work on a project has begun and the water of our share will be available to us only.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Referring to the bomb attacks in Sri Lanka, he said India stands with Colombo in this difficult time and is ready to help in all possible manner.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">                         </span><br />
