Country can't grow on path of development without full participation of all citizens: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said, the country can not grow on the path of development without the full participation of all the citizens. Addressing the India Today Conclave through Video Conferencing in New Delhi, Mr Modi said, it is important to connect the people in nation building and fulfill their aspirations. He said, the decision should not only be in national interest but they should be implemented on time. Referring to last year's decision of demonetisation, Mr Modi said, the public sentiments have been expressly demonstrated in recently held assembly elections.<br/><br/>Mr Modi also said, his government's core agenda is all round development of the country. In this context he mentioned the recent decisions taken by the government like Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana and Make in India, Ujjwala Yojana. He said, under Mudra Yojana, 6 crore people have availed loans to the tune of three lakh crore rupees. He also said, in just ten months 2 crore poor families have been given free LPG cooking gas and the target is to cover 5 crore such families under Ujjwala Yojana.
