Countries must work on security cooperation, info sharing to fight terrorism: India

New Delhi says countries should coordinate and strengthen the security and intelligence system to deal with the emerging challenge of terrorism in view of attack in Paris. Replying to a media query, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, during the upcoming visit of France foreign minister Laurent Fabius, issues of ISIS and Pairs attacks will be discussed. He said, India and France will discuss on further stepping up their mutual cooperation in area of combating terrorism.<br/><br/>On Nepal's political situation, the spokesperson reiterated that there is no blockade from Indian side. When asked that Nepal is approaching China and Bangladesh to find a solution of oil problem, Mr Swarup said the Himalayan nation should reach out to its own people instead of approaching outsiders. He said, Nepalese leadership has to resolve the issues concerning that country through dialogue with agitating parties. <br/><br/>On a query, Mr Swarup said, the Prime Minister will attend the COP-21 climate change summit in Paris later this month.
