The Governor has accepted the resignation of Mr. Gehlot from the post and asked him to fulfill his responsibility until a new Government is formed.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In Madhya Pradesh,&nbsp;the ruling BJP has secured a clear majority in the state Assembly, winning 135 seats and is leading on 29 others. Congress has won 44 seats and leading on 21. One seat has gone to others. This is BJP's biggest victory in the state in last two decades. Polling in the state was held for 230 assembly seats on 17th of November.<br />'' &nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister and BJP leader Shivraj Singh has won from Budhni seat by a record of more than one lakh 5 thousand votes.&nbsp;<br />'' &nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In Chhattisgarh,&nbsp;the BJP is all set to regain power after five years. As per the trends available for&nbsp;90&nbsp;member state legislative assembly, the BJP has won 40 seats so far and is leading on 14 constituencies. The ruling Congress has taken 29 seats and is leading on 16 seats.&nbsp;Chhattisgarh witnessed two-phase polling on 7th and 17th of November.<br />'' &nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Congress leader and Incumbent Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has won from Patan constituency. Deputy Chief Minister T S Singhdeo lost from Ambikapur by 158 votes. BJP leaders Dr. Raman Singh, Arun Sao, Amar Agrawal, Lata Usendi and Neelkanth Tekam have also won their respective seats.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In the&nbsp;119 member Telangana legislative assembly,&nbsp;Congress has so far won 62 seats and leading on 2 seats. The ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has won 34 seat and is leading on 5 constituencies. The BJP has won 8 seat. The AIMIM has bagged five seats and leading on two seats. CPI in alliance with Congress won the lone seat it contested. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao won from Gajwel constituency. However Chief Minister Rao and State Congress President Revanth Reddy lost to Venkataramana Reddy of BJP from Kamareddy seat.
