In Puducherry, counting of votes polled in the by-election to the Indira Nagar Assembly constituency will be taken up on Thursday.The by poll was for the constituency was held as the seat was vacated by Chief Minister N Rangasamy, who had contested and won two seats in assembly elections held in April this year.AIR correspondent reports that the outcome of the poll would be crucial for ruling NR Congress to ensure a majority in the assembly. The ruling party which is supported by an independent has a strength of 15 in the 30-member house.
