Counting for Bihar assembly polls on Sunday

Counting of votes for assembly elections in Bihar will be taken up on Sunday. While counting will start at 8 AM, results are expected by 10 AM. Chief electoral officer Ajay Nayak said, all arrangements have been put in place for the purpose. <br/><br/>He said, 39 counting centres have been set up. 243 observers have been deployed to monitor the counting process.<br/><br/>Counting of postal ballots will be taken up first. It will be followed by voting through EVMs. 70 companies of CRPF have been deployed to ensure trouble free counting.<br/><br/><br/>Exit polls at the completion of Bihar assembly polls yesterday, predicted a mixed and close contest between Grand Alliance of JDU-RJD-Congress and the BJP-led NDA.<br/><br/>Polls on Times Now in association with C-Voter predicted 122 seats in a house of 243 to the Grand Alliance while it forecast 111 seats to BJP-led alliance. <br/><br/>News X has predicted 130 to 140 seats for the Grand Alliance while it forecast 90 to 100 seats to the BJP-led alliance.<br/><br/>India Today-Cicero poll has predicted 113 to 127 seats for the NDA comprising BJP, LJP, HAM (Secular) and RLSP and 111 to 123 seats for the JDU-led alliance. <br/><br/>Hindi channel India TV forecast 112 to 132 seats for the JD-U led alliance and 101 to 121 for the NDA. <br/><br/>Chanakya on News 24 channel gave the BJP-led alliance a strong majority with 155 seats (plus minus 11 seats) and the rival JDU-led alliance 80 (plus minus 9)
