Costa Rica: 9 killed after bus, two other vehicles plunged into ravine

<span style="color: #222222;">In Costa Rica, at least nine people have been killed when a bus and two other vehicles plunged into a ravine amid heavy rain on Sunday. The bus was on a passenger route between San Jose and the northwestern province of Santa Cruz de Guanacaste. The Authorities in a statement said that 55 people were rescued and taken to the hospital.<br />''<br />''According to media reports, a landslide in a mountain pass called El Hundimiento in Alajuela Province's Cambronero area, caused the vehicles to fall into the 75-meter ravine. Firefighters and other assistance services including emergency teams worked to recover bodies. On other hand, as the rains caused severe damage, hundreds of families had to be evacuated. The National Meteorological Institute said the downpour is expected to continue in coastal areas. </span><br />
