Chiefs of Staff Committee chairman Admiral Sunil Lanba today hosted a farewell banquet for President Pranab Mukherjee who demits office on July 24.<br/>'<br/>An Army official said the banquet was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, outgoing Vice President Hamid Ansari, Defence Minister Arun Jaitely and Army chief General Bipin Rawat, among others. <br/>'<br/>The President is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Navy chief Lanba currently heads the Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC) which also comprises Gen Rawat and Air chief B S Dhanoa.
