Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu today said, corporate houses have national responsibility to bring new ideas and opportunities into Indian railways. <br/><br/>Addressing the Round table conference on Data Analytics in Railways, he said, Indian Railways is the largest generator of Data in the world and analysis of the same for the optimization of resource and better efficiency is crucial.<br/><br/>The Minister added that Data analysis is one of the priority areas for his ministry and data created in various fields of railway is a soft asset which can be monetized to convert into wealth.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, TCS, Microsoft, Union Bank, Bosch and many other leading corporate entities are taking part in the round table conference to brainstorm ways to harness the huge data being generated daily.
