<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, the Coronavirus seroprevalence study conducted by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation revealed that antibodies developed in women are marginally higher than men. A seroprevalence study conducted in October found only 54.5 per cent of the 1708 persons infected and recovered from the viral infection had antibodies by the end of 12th week. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, the study revealed that 55 per cent women had antibodies compared to 54 per cent men. According to the study, the seropositivity among those who were COVID infected fluctuated between 40 to 60 per cent during the 12 weeks.The survey revealed that seropositivity among COVID infected cases was generally stable between 50 per cent to 55 per cent up to four months. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Sources said that the same number of people are losing antibodies as months progresses. This indicates that there is no herd immunity. The findings of this study are significant in view of the possible rollout of anti COVID-19 Vaccine in the coming month.</span><br />
