<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, the practice of Biometric Attendance of all the State Government offices has been suspended for one month after the positive cases of Coronavirus have been detected in India.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Speaking at a press briefing at his Secretariat, Manipur Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh said, the State Government has been putting maximum efforts to prevent the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus in Manipur. The virus may spread through hand contamination and as a precautionary measure, the Biometric Attendance of government offices has been suspended for one month.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The Chief Minister said, since mid-January, State Government has been taking various precautionary measures and so far not a single case of COVID-19 is detected in Manipur. Full screening for visitors has been initiated at entry points at border areas of the state and visitors are allowed to enter Manipur after examining the travelling history and other details of the person concerned.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' He said, screening of a total number of 1,21,629 passengers/visitors were done and twelve suspected cases were found. Out of these, the result of ten samples found negative while results of two are awaited. State Government has kept two Isolation Wards in ready for any eventuality.</span><br />''
