Corona Curfew extended in Jammu and Kashmir till May 17

<span style="color: #222222;">Corona Curfew already imposed in all the twenty districts of Jammu and Kashmir till 7 am tomorrow has been extended further by the administration for seven days till 7 am on 17th of May. The curfew will be strict except for a few essential services while the gathering permissible for marriages has been reduced to twenty-five only effective from today. Ten additional Oxygen Generation Plants are also coming up in J&K soon with the intervention of the Central Government.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">These decisions were taken during a high-level meeting of COVID Task Force chaired by Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha after a detailed assessment of the district-wise COVID scenario and containment measures required to control the spread of the virus.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, 5190 fresh positive cases were reported in Jammu and Kashmir today. Out of these cases, 1,770 cases were reported from Jammu Division while 3,420 were reported from Kashmir Division. Besides, 54 COVID related deaths were reported in the Union Territory with 32 fatalities reported from Jammu Division and 22 reported from Kashmir Division. Srinagar district continues to show the upsurge with each passing day which has already been notified in the Red Zone category.</span><br />''  <br />
