The Attorney General has advised the Tamil Nadu Governor that the Assembly be convened within a week for floor test to decide whether O Panneerselvam or V K Sasikala has majority. <br/><br/>This follows Governor Vidyasagar Rao writing to Attorney General Mukul Rohtagi seeking legal opinion on the current stalemate over government formation in the State. <br/> <br/>The Supreme Court is likely to give a verdict tomorrow in a disproportionate assets case against Sasikala. The Governor is reportedly waiting for the court to deliver its verdict in the case.
