Three contract killers allegedly hired by notorious gangster Bharat Nepali were today arrested on charges of gunning down Shahid Azmi.<br/><br/>Azmi was the counsel to a 26/11 co-accused. Joint Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria told reporters that the trio — Devendra Babu Jagtap alias JD, Pintoo Deoram Dagale and Vinod Yashwant Vichare ‘ were apprehended from suburban Mulund around 12 noon, However, motive behind the murder remains unclear.<br/><br/> He said, the murder was executed on the instructions of Nepali and his associate Vijay alias Baba Shetty who had paid one lakh rupees contract money to the killers.<br/><br/>Azmi, who represented 26/11 co-accused Faheem Ansari, was shot dead in his office on February 11 night at point blank range.
