In Himachal Pradesh, continuous rain during past 24 hours has disrupted the normal life badly. National highway 21 from Chandigarh – Manali has been blocked following land slide between Mandi and Manali. The traffic has also been disrupted on national highway 20 between Pathankot – Mandi. Thousands of tourists are stranded in Kullu and Manali due to landslide on national highway 21. River Beas is at spate and flowing above danger mark. Kullu Administration has announced holiday today in all educational institutes, keeping in view the prevailing bad weather conditions. In Shimla district also, most of the link roads are closed. The Shimla – Nahan road was opened this morning after being disrupted for more than four hours.
