In Tamilnadu, continues rain since Monday night in the districts of Chennai, Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur has thrown normal life out of gear. Schools have been closed in Chennai and Kanchipuram as the rains have not stopped yet. Though a relief from the hot weather, the rain caused traffic snarls in the city.The weather bulletin today said that the present rains were due to the upper air circulation. The MET department has predicted the usual onset of monsoon during this month. The rains are expected to continue for the next 24 hours.
