Consumer Mela starts tomorrow for spot registration of consumer grievances

Department of Consumer Affairs is organizing Consumer Mela 2016 at Central Park in New Delhi from tomorrow for on spot registration of consumer grievances. <br/><br/>An official release said, the objective of the Mela is to bring consumers, companies, regulators and Department of Consumer Affairs on one platform for consumer awareness and grievance redressals. <br/><br/>Industry bodies like CII, FICCI and PHD Chambers and sector regulators like FSSAI and TRAI will participate in the Mela.<br/><br/>The Consumer Counseling Mechanism, popularly known as National Consumer Helpline will educate consumers about their rights and responsibilities, the procedure for seeking Grievance Redressal in the Mela.
