The government today said that the process of consultations with all the states and Union Territories over National Counter Terrorism Centre, NCTC is on. Minister of State for Home, R P N Sigh said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha that some states had raised objections after issuance of notification for creation of NCTC. He said, a meeting of Chief Ministers, Administrators and Lt Governors of all states and Union Territories was held on the issue by the Centre on the 5th of May this year.
