The Government today said that the consultation process still continues on the issue of separate Telengana state and no decision has been taken. Breifing the media in New Delhi, Home Minster Mr. P Chidambaram said the Congress General Secretary and Incharge of Andhra Pradesh, Gulam Nabi Azad is already holding talks with Party MPs and MLAs on the issue. Expressing unhappiness over the spate of resignations by the Congress MPs and MLAs, he said that, only process of consultation will lead to a conclusion on the Telangana issue. The Home Minister appealed to the agitating people not to resort to violence and take law into their hands. He said, adequate number of central forces were made available to the state to deal with any untoward situation. Mr Chidambaram met the State Director General of Police Dinesh Reddy on Tuesday evening, who briefed him about the law and order situation in the state.
