The Civil Aviation Ministry has approved changes in the by-laws, regulating building activities around airports— a move that will help a large number of people living in areas near airports.Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh approved the changes recommended by a committee constituted by his Ministry on the issue. According to an official release, the changes will bring transparency and efficiency in giving approval for constructing buildings around airports.Singh also approved the recommendations regarding installation of new navigation equipment at the airports.
