The Constitutional Council of Nepal has recommended name of Deep Basnyat for Chief of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA). At present, Mr. Basnyat is acting Chief of CIAA and senior most commissioner of the anti graft body. In October last year then Chief Commissioner Lokman Singh Karki had to quit his post after an impeachment motion was filed against him in the parliament.
